Scott McLean was appointed to the College Pension Board of Trustees in January 2026 by the Federation of Post-Secondary Educators of BC (FPSE).

Scott is an instructor in the economics department at Langara College snəw̓ eyəɬ leləm, a position he has held since 2007. He holds a B.Sc. in economics from the University of Victoria and an M.A. in economics from the University of British Columbia.

Previously, Scott served on the Langara Faculty Association (LFA) Board, representing the LFA on the FPSE Presidents’ Council. He has also held leadership roles as a union executive, including President and Vice-President of the LFA.
